I'm a bit overdue. What do you people expect? I've been working on my Christmas letter. It takes a lot out of me.

Blago got 14 years this week. I'm not a big fan, but that does seem excessive to me, given what other politicians do and the fact that violent criminals often serve less time. I can't remember where I heard it, but the word is that Blago's hairdresser got life.

There's been a lot of other stuff going on. Newt is on the ascent but I'm sure he'll find a way to hose it. I read an interesting article in The Slate about him, asking the important question, "Is Newt Nuts?"

Newt is one of the few Republicans that has accepted the invite for Donald Trump's debate. What a sideshow that is going to be. Is is just me or does Trump look like an orange with a bad haircut?

Beyonce was on 20/20 recently. I didn't read up on it but she apparently discussed her food cravings and other pregnancy related items. Good stuff. I wonder if billions of other women throughout history have had similar experiences.

So I mentioned a while back that I'm into Pandora radio now. One of their recurring commercials is for Panera Bread, stating that one of their best kept secrets is that they make fresh bread every day. Really!? You're a bakery, correct?
