Blast from the Past

I was sitting at the bar of The Shack, the appropriately named dump we used to hang out in back in the 70s. They featured 30 cent drafts, 15 cents on Tuesday nights. It was late one night, and I was with my high school buddy Teddy, who unfortunately passed away several years ago.  He was relating to me with glee the following scene with the character Father Damien Karras from The Exorcist.  He got quite a kick out of saying to me “why you do this to me?”.

It has been bandied about in the mid-Peninsula gossip rags that this series is about my marriage, which I categorically deny.  I did manage to keep it out of the Foster City Patch, as they respect me as a former associate.
