Sunday Morning Musings

I’ve just completed the prep work for my signature brisket, which the Exec and I will consume as we watch the Niners beat the Packer’s tonight, and now it is time to blog.

I got a note from The Wig asking where the hell DJ was.  I was going to tell him that a 400-pound hacker sitting on his bed had hijacked my blog, but that would be less than transparent.  I do not want to disappoint Wig, as I did countless times when we were living in a luxury apartment on Cleveland Ave. in Binghamton in 1980 along with Dr. Joe.

I’d touch on the latest news, but I have not been paying too much attention.  Between work and Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid marathon, I’ve been pretty tied up.  I do know that the spewing tangerine grifter has been having a couple tough weeks, along with the rest of us, but I have complete confidence that the Republicans in the Senate will do the right thing.

Mike Bloomberg has joined the presidential race, but his campaign will not be accepting donations. What a solid citizen! It is too bad though, because I was about to write him a check.  His predecessor has been going off the rails as usual, but I’m happy that he has an insurance policy in the unlikely event that he gets thrown under the bus.  Are you getting tired of hearing
“thrown under the bus” yet?  I think he should pay attention to the opening lines of this.

I took a quick perusal of the entertainment news on Google to see if there was anything I should share with you.  Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union will be leaving "America's Got Talent".  This is the last straw for me, and I will no longer watch.  I stated earlier that I didn't want to disappoint The Wig, so I hope he does not find out that the 2019 Victoria’s Secret fashion show is officially cancelled.  And the American Music Awards are bumping up against football, so I’ll have to DVR that one.  I gotta see what Taylor Swift will be singing.  Lastly, Charlie’s Angels has not done well at the box office.  I find that difficult to understand, given it was a rehash of a rehash of a bad idea.

I checked my blog notes from the last several months to see if there was anything else I needed to say, but there was nothing but twaddle there, so I’ll leave you with my week’s picks.
