Palaver

I'm crestfallen. Michaele Salahi has left Tareq for Neal Schon of Journey, who himself has been married for only a few months, to a 1986 Playboy playmate. I thought the Salahis really had it together. What went wrong?

I went to see my sister a couple weekends ago. Both she and my brother live in Oaktown. I failed to to tell my bro I was heading across the bay but he tracked me down at my sister's house. He made a very good point that I had shown disrespect, as he is now the titular head of the family. I kissed his hand and apologized.

SB2 is constantly learning stuff. He now understands the concept of the courtesy flush. When he drops one, he reaches back and flushes. Of course he does the same thing when he pees, but I ain't complaining.

#1 has not contacted me yet to gloat about the Cowboys taking the Niners in overtime. I'm waiting.

Here's the type of stuff I think about on my drive to work. I passed a General Produce truck and caught their slogan: "We solve your produce needs." I do not think that is correct. I think they should either fulfill our produce needs or solve our produce problems. I plan to get in touch with them.

As I believe I've mentioned in the past, I'm pretty hip. 105.3 is one of the buttons on my car radio. I've been catching a few interesting tunes. You can't help but hear Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People but there is a new one out called Cough Syrup by Young The Giant. I'm wondering how youngsters today come up with such themes. Wow, they're so DARK. They probably wrote those lyrics sitting in their Intro to American Lit classes.

I guess I'll be one of the last to get a smart phone. That's OK. My phone is Y2K compatible.
