I Stink

At blogging, among other things, such as ticket buying.

So it has again been over a month since I last posted.  I’ve seen recent peeks from The Wolv and The Wig, who have had to contain their disappointment in me.  I think #1 has stopped by as well, but not from his place of employment, since he is laser focused on projects and would never use work time to cruise the web for recreational purposes.

So, about those tickets.  #1 and I, along with the wives, saw “Beautiful” last weekend at the Orpheum Theater in SF.  The bad news is that the tickets I bought were for the show in New York City.  The good news is we were able to get four good seats at will call.  So I’m out $400 because I’m an idiot.  We had a good dinner at Alta CA afterwards.

We all took a big hit this week with the news on Brangelina.  I appreciate the fact that The Wig’s brother tried to console me.  A high school friend made a comment on FB intimating that I might make sport of this event.  I guess she really doesn’t know me.

We went down to the South Bay yesterday for lunch in Japantown with the 4Ms.  We then stopped in the mochi shop.  What the hell is a mochi?  Do you really want to know?  It is like eating a mildly flavored sponge.  Here is how you make it.

We were down there to clean out my office in Milpitas.  OK, my cube.  I’m getting a new one in Redwood City.  It was hard to say goodbye but my commute will be shorter.

I got a call from The Belgian yesterday.  He’s looking for help setting up his own blog.  Not sure why the hell he thinks I know what I’m doing, but he’s stopping by later anyway.  After that I’ll lie around watching football.  I’ve already had a productive morning, making a pile of my brisket.

I’ll be back in a week or two.  I’ll need to detail our next Kirkwood trip, which begins Friday.  We have a special guest this round.
